Information for Guests
Guest Arrival & Seating Information
Doors are open for guests one hour before the start of the ceremony. The ceremony begins promptly at 11:00 for the undergraduate commencement and at 16:00 for the graduate commencement.
Guests enter AUA’s Main Building through the doors on the right. VIP guests will enter through the doors on the left. Each guest must have a ticket for admission. All tickets have a seat number. Please follow the signs to the appropriate seating area in which your seat is located.
Guests with Disabilities
Graduating students whose guests who have special needs should contact Garine Palandjian, Student Services Manager, at 060-61 27 56 or firstname.lastname@example.org at least one week before the ceremonies. Sign-language interpretation will be available and a special seating area will be designated for guests with hearing impairments.
We want you to have great photos of commencement and there will be plenty of opportunities to take photos after the ceremony. The lobby, stairs outside of the Main Building and the Large Auditorium are recommended locations. Please understand that guests are not permitted to stand in the front of the platform or in the aisles to take photographs during the ceremony.
