Commencement Ceremonies – Information for Students

Graduating Students Arrival Information

Graduating students should arrive no later than 45-minutes before the start of the ceremony for robing and line-up.  The ceremony will begin promptly at the announced times. Both will last approximately 2 hours.  Immediately following each ceremony, guests and graduates are invited to the reception that will be held in the Cafeteria on the second floor and the adjacent hallways of the Main Building.

Graduating students should enter the university through the Main Building and go to the third floor.  The robing and line-up area is outside of the Registrar’s Office and the ICTS department doors.

Please note, it is advised to limit the amount of personal items that you take to the robing and line-up area.  Only essential personal items can be carried with you during the ceremony.  There will be many guests on campus and security of personal items left behind cannot be guaranteed.

**Please make certain to bring your name card to the ceremony for the presentation of degrees.

Invitations will be distributed at the time of regalia pick up.  This will take place on

TBD  for graduate students, and on

TBD for undergraduate students, from 11:00-19:00.

Diplomas will not be distributed at commencement.  Diplomas will be available for pick up at the Office of the Registrar at least four weeks after degrees are conferred on June 25, 2020.  Graduates will be alerted that diplomas are ready.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the university is planning another conferral date in August. Details will be announced later.
