Doors are open for guests one hour before the start of the ceremony. The ceremony begins promptly at the announcement times.

Guests enter AUA’s Main Building through the doors on the right. VIP guests will enter through the doors on the left.  Each guest must have a ticket for admission.  All tickets have a seat number.  Please follow the signs to the appropriate seating area in which your seat is located.

Guests with Special Needs

Graduating students whose guests who have special needs should contact us at least one week before the ceremonies.

Sign-language interpretation will be available and a special seating area will be designated for guests with hearing impairments.

We want you to have great photos of commencement and there will be plenty of opportunities to take photos after the ceremony.   The lobby, stairs outside of the Main Building and the Large Auditorium are recommended locations.   Please understand that guests are not permitted to stand in the front of the platform or in the aisles to take photographs during the ceremony.
